Ahead of the 2026 World Cup Draw in Los Angeles on 5 December 2025, Local Action Marketing (LAM) has confirmed an expansion of its operational footprint across the United States and Canada. LAM can now assist clients in 13 of the 16 host cities.

A new pathway now connects Pacific-based sports, brands, and government agencies with major events in the USA & Canada, including the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Summer Games.
Away We Go ~ Matike Mai has been named the official Pacific Affiliate of Local Action Marketing (LAM) - a new global sports marketing agency launched today in Los Angeles.
The Auckland-based agency is one of eight regional affiliates announced by LAM today. It joins a global network of specialists spanning the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, anchored by a new Los Angeles-based team of 25+ senior leaders and industry experts.
From today, Away We Go ~ Matike Mai will begin operating under a dual brand.
